Cool Song

Buck in Haystack

Adios friends, I have enjoyed the years spent here, the conversations, advice, bantering, truck talk, and all of YOU. Keep the faith and have a really Merry X-mas and a Happy New Year. In a couple of years I may be back, we will see. May you all be blessed.

Lance P. :D

I don't think he's going to Afganastan, that's illflem, I think CF is building a shack in them thar hills.

CF, I bid you a fond farewell, even though I didn't always agree with your point of view in the others section I always enjoyed reading what you had to say and the replies from others that returned. It was definantely lively. Enjoy yourself sir. Oh, out of curiosity I looked and even though CF only has 463 post listed under his name he actually had 2076 including the ones in the Other forum. Have a Merry Christmas and say a prayer for our men over seas. It's now 27 minutes before Christmas on the East coast and I am working hard.

We never spoke C. F. but I enjoyed your posts (tho I don't share many of your view's). Got to respect a man who doesn't back down in spite of objections, hoots, hollers and severe bashing of others. I hope to bump into you some where, the beer will be on me.

Go in peace brother.

Paul

Good luck in the hills CF, I will envy you the solitude. Hope your cabin will be located somewhere that the forest has been thinned, watch out for the wildfires. Sure enjoyed the debates.

Take care,

Mike Ellis

Same here Lance. I admire your tenacity. You didn't back down even when defending a minority opinion here.

Good luck with whatever you do and Merry Christmas!

I will be gone soon to. Not because of political, personal, or problems with this website. I have a big project coming up and will be very busy for the next year or two, will not have the luxury of a computer for awhile (probably have computer DTs). I am going to let my membership lapse. Might be back in a year or so. I have enjoyed the battles and banter, they will be missed.

I am not as noble as Bill and am trying to build a spot up in the hills. Far away from human kind, someplace where my natural hermit can grow and develop. You see, I am growing tired of people, the more I know, the more I like my dogs.

Wish you luck w/ the project, I envy you, I too yearn for solitude from the craziness. Some of my fondest memories were helping a Buddy build a cabin at a place called Hatcher's Pass in Alaska.

Later CF

Didn't always agree with you, but I wish you the best of luck just the same.

Just don't go Kozinsky on us living in your mountain palace. ;)

The "OTHER" forum will never be the same

LIke many, I hardly agreed with Lance's political views, but I had to admire his guts for standing up for what he believed in, no matter what anyone else thought or said about him.

Enjoy yourself; dont get ate up by any wildlife up there :D
