I dented my rear bumper (please don't ask..... )and I am going to replace it and wanted to get a heavy duty bumper with accessary lights. I have looked on-line and seen them from $600 to $1200 +. I am hoping someone has some experience with the rear bumpers and can let me know what you think. From what I can see, it looks like Buckstop is pretty close to what I want.

X2 on the Reunel...

Reunel is actually one of the earliest companies making aftremarket vehicle bumpers.
They are NOT a fly by night operation and have EXCELLENT customer service from the owners who are there almost every day.

If you can afford it, go for the polished stainless steel bumper with welded in hitch rated to 15K.

Tomorrow I'll throw up a pic mine with the 2 pairs of back-up lights that I installed in it.

Fair warning... . found a rear bumper on reunel's site... . on special... . owner's waffled, said it shouldn't have been there... claimed it was already built and paid for... . no sale... . left a bad taste in my mouth, won't do business with them... FTW

Concern about the Ranchhand. Depending on where you live the finish might not hold up too good. We have had numerous Ranchhand bumpers on work trucks in the Midwest and all of them rusted at about one year. For me, that's a turnoff and I would not want that on my own truck. The bumper itself holds up great tho.

Eric, that's a bad lookin' ride! I'm sure you took those pictures "after spending just a few minutes" cleaning it up! Mark

I found this guy for doing some Jeep suspension work for me, and I saw his bumper build work up close. Very nice weld work and detailed fit and finish. His name is Jason. Hands down better than the Fabfours I have now.

Those look good I think, but there's hardly any pictures at all that I could find?

I personally know the owners of Reunel Mfg and I also did some welding for the long ago when the original shop was located in Yuba City, Ca.

There is NO other bumper/s that compare to Reunel.

Buckstop rear bumper for me..... I've seen the Reunel bumpers first hand and they are way strong too. Granite construction runs them on all their pickups out west. FYI-better dented cheap OEM bumper than a damaged duck boat :)

Thanks for all of the information. I ended up buying a Buckstop bumper with the 4 3/4 in lights in the bumper. I was very happy with the customer service of Buckstop. The bumper bolted up to the frame in less than an hour with airtools. The only complaint that I have is that the factory license plate lights had to be modified to have a better fit in the new bumper. Nothing a dremel tool and a little time did not fix. Other than that the bumper is great. The lights were easy to wire in and work great. Total cost of the bumper with lights and shipping was $830, I also spent an extra $50 for a relay, relay harness and misc wiring stuff to install the lights.
