In an effort to gain power, mileage and underhood bling, I am CONSIDERING a 3 piece ex manifold, my question is, has anyone measured the actual hp or tq gains, or at least the spool up time difference? my guess is, there is at least a drop in EGT, but AM hoping for more, and if there is a NO SPIN place for real info, you guys are the source. thanks for reading, RICK

I would say hp and tq gains are minimal. I have an ATS 3 pc on the truck for over 3 yrs. and has had zero issues. Its made of ductile iron and the 3 pcs wil expand and contract so no cracking. Reason I replaced mine was because the stock one cracked like most other 2nd gen 24 valve manifolds. Looks good in the engine bay, but would advise painting it with high heat paint to avoid rust

Yessir, equal length tubular header. Bought it used from someone who had it 3+ years and ran the heck out of his truck, racing and all. It's heavy and well made and withstood the abuse. I've had it on about 7k miles and so far no issues. It's a Polydyn sold through Motorsports Supply but it's not cheap.

Did you get it from a guy on PA? Found one on a google, not sure if it is still for sale, but jeepers even at 800$, it is too pricey for my needs. Here is the direct lonk... http://stores.intuitwebsites.com/hstrial-MOTORSPORTSSU/-strse-27/diesel-cummins-header/Detail.bok

I don't remember who I got it from and where, was 2 years ago. He had over $1300 into it after ceramic coating it, I paid $700 shipped. They don't come up for sale often.
