I was woundering if anyone has put on aftermarket helper spring? I would like to put a set on my truck because of the loads I tow. I saw adjustable ones in fourwheeler but wasnt sure about them. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

Tony,
I have the Airlift 5000# Adjustable Air Bags. They work very well and the ride is not compromised. There are a little higher priced than a spring option, but are very handy. I would opt for the HD Compressor if you go this route. The little one just doesn't get it done.

Tony,

I have the Hellwig adjustable overloads on my 2500 and would not recomend them. They work great when the truck is heavily loaded, but the ride is very harsh empty. I have adjusted them to no avail. I will be replacing them with some sort of airbag. Most people that have airbags seem to like them.
