Low refrigerant.

To check if the pressure is low;



Start the engine and set the A/C to Max and the blower to high.



If you hear the A/C cluch engage and disengage often within the first 5 min, the refrigerant is low.



If this is the first problem you've had with the A/C, you can probably just get a refill kit and fill it back up and it'll be fine for the next 6 months to a year. Over the winter months when you don't use the A/C, the seals shrink a bit and the refrigerant leaks out. Fill it back up and it'll seal up again for a while.

I concur, mine would get so cold that it would ice up and I'd get no air out the vents. Had to run the heater for a few minutes to get it to defrost. I had the ac serviced a few days ago and I no longer have that problem.
