I have a question on the air filter. I replaced my original with a Mopar that came with Genos kit.
The original was only paper fold, the replacement had the Brillo pad affair glued on the bottom of it. I didn't really feel that it would hurt anything, so I installed it with the Brillo pad intact, as I figured maybe I could remove the Brillo pad later and get more life from the filter.
The new Mopar from Genos is exactly the same as the stock from the factory except for the Brillo pad stuff glued on.
Well, now my filter minder goes to 60%, it used to just go to the 30% and stay there. The only time it had gone over the 30% was when the filter was actually dirty and needed replacement.
Anyone else dealt with the Mopar filter with the Brillo pad and did you rip it off or use it and what happened with your filter minder?
TIA
