Anybody have any experience with the crankcase airsept device. Price, installation, performance etc. Also if I look at the tube on my truck I don't like what I see in it. Is this oil clean, and should it be returned to the crankcase?

I have a friend familiar with diesels and owns a Cummins Ram 2500. Said he bought some plastic pipe pieces and fabricated what amounts to a catch device. He just empties it every time he changes oil. Only cost a few bucks to build and serves the same purpose.

I had sent an inquiry for pricing on the AirSep from Walker. Don't think I'm going to spring for that much. I like the do-it-yourself approach, especially given the price difference.

i have seen one in a 99 , looks like a good idea , but is expensive , i emailed the company to see if they have any interest in a group purchase . i'll keep you guys posted
