But yeah, probably still nicer then the GMs.
I always liked Ram to build mildly elegant Trucks, and they turn away from that more and more. It's obvious that Marchionne is gone, he knew that Ram needed to be different to sell trucks in a market that is already taken.

Yep, this will keep me theu the redesign and maybe a bit past as kids will be out of the house by then.

You can still get W2W for short beds, just not the long beds. Even the long beds with the factory W2W boards get the short boards. They would be about as useful as the bed step2.

They are not, nor are the 4.5 Gen version.

I dont know, I think even the shorter running boards like on that Mega Cab would be more usefull than the current offering from AMP for the bedStep2. JM2C.

Haven't had time to look into moving the mechanism back, but there is no real structure back there so will have to fab up a crossover mount from scratch.. maybe this winter... maybe I'll just take it off and put it on marketplace.

Interesting, I wonder why the dealership couldn't find them. They are likely what I had on the '18.

Certainly what I had on the '18 and if I had kept them I could justify the cost of making them black (no chrome on this truck), but it's hard to justify the cost of re-purchasing them and then making them black. But time will tell. I hope to install the AMP tonight and try it out.

That is pretty slow, good thing I’m in the 9.7 range at over 135
