The local Diesel performance shop has been experimenting with the new Amsoil ATF +3/+4 ever since it was first released on the market, with mixed results. Recently they have been seeing the best results with the Mopar brand ATF +3/+4. As I prefer to use synthetic, I elected to switch from the scheduled addition of the new Amsoil ATF +3/+4 (for my transmission upgrade project) to the Red Line 7176 ATF +3. I was warned that the Red Line had also proven to exhibit some drivability problems however, as I have also been a long time user of Red Line products, I was going to go for it, regardless (Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!)
#ad
The Red Line has proven to work exceptionally well (in my transmission), exhibiting no perceived slippage or TCC chatter.
