Can you believe it, another first gen on the homepage this week. That's at least 3 in a week.

Very nice truck Rick. ;)

Yes Rick nice ride... . 1st gens are on a roll... .

I voted but didn't give you a 10... . because of the snow in the picture. LOL

... . 1st gens are on a roll... .

I have noticed that the price of first gens has hit a bottom and is actually moving back up. Even beaters bring a fair price for dismantling. There are more 'prospective' owners than sellers who will let their truck go at a cheap price. While the later models outnumber us ten to one, we still have the best trucks AND "they just ain't building any more of our trucks". And we who have them don't intend to give them away.

yeah those were some nice looking trucks, i hope one day to have mine grace the front page, i may be putting my pictures in the wrong place LOL... I know I purchased my '92 on 11-28-05 and if i die before the truck does i have requested burial with it, it ain't going no where :-laf

I don't like to be left out in the dark. Where are you guys seeing the trucks on the home page. I thought I knew how to work this website. I have both a first and second generation dodge and really enjoy driving the old one when I can get it away from my son. Thanks.

Home page

At the top of this page there is a line that has several options. One is TDR Home. Put the cursor on that and left click. On the page that then opens there will be a picture of someones truck on the right border near the top. Put the cursor on the picture and left click. Follow your intuition as to the steps available. I think you will get it.

First Generation

Pastor Bob, going well Thank You. I do not post very often, work full time as an auto/diesel tech, enjoy reading others thoughts and opinions. Newest work project is an in frame overhaul on an L10 Cummins. After the Holidays hopefully will do more upgrages to my D350. Thanx again for the Divine inspiration (putting my truck on the homepage) Rick. :)

OH... . BTW guys... . did you know that you can go into the readers rigs gallerys and view/vote for the trucks in there... . ummmm... . are you getting the drift of this one here... . ;):D

pb...

What exactly does it do when we vote on the pictures? If the pic has a high rating, it gets picked?

Let me conjecture out loud on this. Just be chance there may be some one (as in webmaster and managment) that looks at the tallys and realizes that a whole lot of members are scrutnizing those pictures and if the first genners are the ones that are getting the attention- - - - hummmm. I'm thinking that the soft wear running this site has the ability to collect everything.

When I was a kid, there were still mule and wagons being used and the jargon that went with them included one that went 'the wheel that squeaks the loudest gets the first grease'
