Hi guys,

If you are (or are hoping to) come up for the PDR Dyno Day, please let me or PDR know

They need some idea of how many they might expect, so they can plan for parking, accomodations in the bay(s) (if available), they dyno time needed, and maybe provide some ideas for trailer parking near by.

This is open to ALL comers regardless of truck model or make... Fords and GM's are all welcome too... .

Please let someone know ASAP.

Thank you

bob.

I'd be happy to be the first one on the list. I plan on being there. How bout some of you other guys? SamsRam said he was going to try to be there As well as Carl up in Longview.

Bob, of course my son and I will be there. And yes, we plan on doing the dyno. Is this good enough or do you need a PM?

Hi Bob

I am planning on making the trip up there. Tentative plans call for driving to my sons place in North Seattle on Friday then driving the last 100 miles on Saturday morning.

Can you post directions and where to cross the border?

Bob

I think that Nowel [HVAC] and I are traveling up... I know I am not 100% sure about Nowel

how about hotel rooms in the area ?? just general info please

I'm planning on heading up this event. I doubt the wife and 2yr old will be there. I suspect I will be leaving them with friends just south of the border. Gonna go bback and get them afterwards and spend a little time up in BC.

Border crossing.

Just 4 wks. ago I had a hard time getting through to Canada at the Blaine Crossing. Guy had an attitude and didnt' like my photo-copy birth certificate. I had used this 5 other times over the past two years, with no problems. All of those crossings were at Lynden. I also waited in line over an hour at Blaine. Had Piers' business card, and that finally closed the deal.

If there are long waits at Blaine, when you factor that in, IMO it's quicker just to go to Lynden. I've never had more than a 15 minute wait at Lynden. It's not that much longer driving west to Piers'.

I now have a NOTARIZED copy of my BC.

EDIT: Practice your "yes sirs/mam's", remove your sunglasses, and DO NOT give them any hint of :-{}

We got us a convoy...

Yup, we're planning to come up as well. We're organizing a Pacific Coast Power Tour for this.

-- Any Bombers that are along the coast that want to join up and make a big ole' Cummins parade please reply or send me a PM and we'll make this happen. It's just logistics, hotel RSVP's and food, and it's all good.

This kind of stuff and these kinds of trips are what make these hobbies worth the price. Lots of fun and good people to hang with - going to be a good time. And with a place like PDR as the host it'll just be a bombing fest!

I hope Piers furnishes name tags, I would like to meet some more TDR Members :)

I think mark have forgotten to mention that PDR is going to post some links/info for those coming up to the event.

Keep your eye on this thread and when it's ready it'll show up here.

Yep,,,,,Here I set. Away from all the action:( I can't get much farther away, unless maybe i'd move back to Florida.

There is a dyno here local, but I don't think they understand what's going on. A friend returned from their shop, which turned up the fuel to his cummins. He told me that it was tested on the dyno and reached 900* turbo temp. The kicker was they told him that they can't go any further because it's now at the point of melt-down  This is a over-the-road truck shop. Maybe they mean post turbo temps:confused:

I'll set here and tinker some more. May even paint the ole girl. I like BLACK. Silver and black. Sharp. Have fun guys!!!

hey cliff,

I spoke to Shanti the other day and mentioned the open house. I think they may attend, but you should make sure they will be around on Fri's because they often go to the track on Fri's to set up.

I don't know if they are going on that Fri. but it can't hurt to check. .
