any tips on mods for 2007.5

i am deployed to the 5th fleet right now and wanting to buy a tuner for my truck and a dpf delete. i was wondering what yall think would be a great set up.

I have a Smarty that is really good. Gauges are a must to me (EGT, Boost, FP, transmission temp if auto. ) You might want to list your truck in the signature so easier to advise you specifically. Got it on ebay for $585 and free shipping.



The programmer add lots of hp/tq, so recommend programming no more the 60 or 90 hp to save your transmission. If you want more, upgrade the transmission first.

I am using a Smarty tuner and gauges along with a 5" MBRP turbo back exhaust and a 6" tip.

I am also using Mag-Hytec differential covers front and rear along with a Mag-Hytec oil pan. You may want to consider an extra 2 micron fuel filter after the stock filter. You will need to consider the land of fruit and nuts emission laws (Calif. ) if you will be based there after you return from your sea duty.

I have SMARTY. There is really on two choices for a code free delete package, either SMARTY or H & S.

well i will take the smarty into thought. do you know if it will go great with the edge cts w/ attitude? and ya the california law is a big deal also. but i am gettin stationed in oklahoma so thats when the mod is gonna be done. thanks for your respnse though.

I do not know, since I have not use this set up. I do not need the Edge since I have gauges installed.

I used the Edge to clear codes on start up and simms in the exhaust before the SMARTY became available. I just use it as extra guages now.
