Anybody have Recon LED tail lights on a 2nd Gen

Their fit is not that great.



First pic is left side. Light is a bit shorter than OEM.

Second pic I can only engage the top screw on the left side

Third pic is the right side can only engage to top screw again.

I've yet to see ANY quality aftermarket tails or headlights. All made overseas, and not very well.

these are the ones I had on my 2001. .



Found them online. . these have a resistor built in. . all you have to do is stick it to a panel inside. . works perfect

I should have asked a question about LED tail lights before I bought Recons.

Recon is too expensive on certain products, IMHO. I picked mine up here

Everything fit just fine and if you have a Tridon EP26 flasher there is no need for a resisitor. The Tridon EP26 is made to play with l. e. d's, it is clearly stated on the flasher. My truck came from the factory with this flasher and my turn signals and hazards work just fine.
