The sad part is thats actually close to what theyre going for. I have been watching classifieds on various forums as well as local for a friend who has been looking for a late 1st gen/early 2nd gen and I see trucks listed around that price or slightly lower and they arent sitting long before theyre gone. A guy I work with just drove 6 hours each way to W Virginia for an 01 qc long bed with 130k miles. Paid 13k for it and feels like he got a good deal
Actually... . our trucks are worth much more than Kelly BB says they are. The pre-emmision vehicles are getting top dollar paid if in very good condition. Almost $20k is pretty steep but the corrected asking price is very close to what these trucks are going for... ... . in my neck of the woods anyway!
WOW! I guess I really got lucky when I purchase mine stone stock w/75k miles on it in May of 01 for 18k flat. Of course I've probably put at leats 10k in it over the years and at 200k the paint (actually what's left of it) needs to be removed and shot again. I'll keep it as long as the ol Cummins keeps hummin. After all, we are driving a Cummins with a Dodge wraped around it...
If somebody's looking for a 24V auto, you might check out this one (in ALASKA). I know the seller, and he has too many trucks, so is motivated to sell and price has dropped. ... . wish I had an extra stall in the stable.
