Thats a little steep  I gave 10k for my 98. 5 3 years ago with 67k on the clock. The deals are out there if your patient :)

Wow all the way down to 15,800. A 12 year old, automatic, CA emissions 24 valve with a programmer, so it won't pass a CA smog test. I'll pass.

The sad part is thats actually close to what theyre going for. I have been watching classifieds on various forums as well as local for a friend who has been looking for a late 1st gen/early 2nd gen and I see trucks listed around that price or slightly lower and they arent sitting long before theyre gone. A guy I work with just drove 6 hours each way to W Virginia for an 01 qc long bed with 130k miles. Paid 13k for it and feels like he got a good deal

$13k for a low mileage, non-CA truck is a long way from 15,800 for a truck that was so abused the rear end has already needed to be rebuilt. .

Im a long ways from CA what did the 98. 5-02 trucks come equipped with in CA that they didnt have elsewhere?

I just went to the the buyers guide. The 24 valve was 50 state compliant, no difference. Learn something every day.

Actually... . our trucks are worth much more than Kelly BB says they are. The pre-emmision vehicles are getting top dollar paid if in very good condition. Almost $20k is pretty steep but the corrected asking price is very close to what these trucks are going for... ... . in my neck of the woods anyway!

WOW! I guess I really got lucky when I purchase mine stone stock w/75k miles on it in May of 01 for 18k flat. Of course I've probably put at leats 10k in it over the years and at 200k the paint (actually what's left of it) needs to be removed and shot again. I'll keep it as long as the ol Cummins keeps hummin. After all, we are driving a Cummins with a Dodge wraped around it...
