In the past three months I have put new shocks, 1. 5" leafs and D25 coils on my truck. Before the leveling kit went in, I measured the truck and it was 1/2" low front and back on the driver's side. After the new springs and the leafs, it is still 1/2" low on the left. Could this be caused by 35 gallons of fuel, or do I need to lose a few pounds?

Thanks,

Dan

Yup mine leans also, yup it's the 300#'s of fuel, yup you could loose some weight - :D.

There was another thread a while back about this. It seems to me that some one had a fix for this but I can't remember what it is. Maybe putting shims on the left side. Drive your tank until it's empty then measure it again. I would be interested to know if it leveled out, or started leaning to the right with no fuel.

Yup, even after I did all new aftermarket springs and shocks on all 4 corners. I don't let it keep me up at night worring :D

I think mine does this as well. Now that I have a camper and airbags I have though about running the left side a bit higher than the right?

I was wondering if I needed new springs over there. This thread actually eases my mind a bit!

Well, I'm down to half a tank and the lean is still there. It looks like crap, oh well. One thing I did try was to move my tool box with 200lbs. of stuff to the passenger side and it still leans to the port side. I guess it's time for Weight Watchers.

Thanks,

Dan

Mine too. Noticed it a week after I picked it up from the dealer.

Went to the dealer and they stated it is not warrantyable because it's within specs. I asked what the specs were and they said within 1 inch.

Just a little too much tolerance room on that one.

I'm disappointed now. I was going to get replacememt rear springs because I thought it would fix the problem. Guess not. :(

I noticed the same thing on my '97

Same thing here on my '97. I can't live with the lean. I guess I'm too anal when it comes to things like that:( . I might try swapping rear springs from left to right. When I do, I'll post my results.
