Getting Close

Katdiesel has been tracking mine for me. It's somewhere in Kansas now headed for Spokane Washington then by truck to my dealer in Kellog Idaho. They just called me today and told me I can take delivery on the 15th. I guess they are pretty confident that the train will get it there on time. I'll let you guys know all the details next wednesday when I get my new baby. By the way KatDiesel, thanks for tracking it's progress..... much more info then I could get.

Well thats all the info i could get from home. I was way too busy to mess with it on Monday night..... at work. I left out the train symbols. But if I were at work I could tell you exactly where the train was. At home I can only get a lil info... . but as you noticed alot more then you can get :)

Theres an "employee" part of the website... ... hehe

Kat, I guess mine could take another two weeks then. Wish they could do it faster. Vaughn, I believe the power ratings are the same as 2001 ETC and ETH... . But I have not heard any thing official... . Ray let us know yours is right around the corner;)

Number to call

I have a number at work for the Automotive Group at Union Pacific, they were able to give me a railcar number and status a week and a half before DC had the information. I just gave them the VIN and they told me right were the truck was at and when it would be loaded on a railcar. I called back at the time they told me and it had in fact been loaded and was moving through Mexico to Laredo. I'll post the phone number tomorrow when I get to work.

Now that is service

KatDiesel,

Thanks for the updates but I don't expect you to keep a hourly tab on it. If you could just check every day or two that would be more than enough. I don't want to trouble you to much.

Thanks a million,

I just happen to be sitting here at the PC watching a movie. I was curious where it was. I got the car number memorized now lol.

But I looked at the "Public Equipment Trace" too and see you can see the same info, you just can't see the scheduled events.

If I was at work... . then i could track the spefic location of the train its on and track it much more precise. I'll be sure to see about it tommorrow night at work.

Its no trouble at all. Nuthing else to do this time of night.

Its ahead of schedule

As of now its already at NorthPlatte!

Arrived Npltwest, NE Aug 9 6:33

NorthPlatte is the biggest railyard in the world, so thats why it will spend close to two days there.

My VIN is as follows:

3B7MC33C72M205489

So, can anyone determine the shipping status with this information? All the dealer can tell me as of this morning is that "... it's already shipped. "

Thanks for the help. :)

Ray needs to post the phone number for the automotive group. I'll see what I can dig up in the meantime on it. I found some numbers but I think it might be to the "higher ups". So I'll wait until Ray posts. Both numbers I have in mind are (248) area code. I am just curious what number Ray has, if its Mike or Sarah?

If and when you do get the number, call and get the railcar number then post it. Don't tell them I am tracking the car for you they might get upset at some of the info I give out. Just tell'em you wanna trace the car using the Public Trace feature. I use a Secured Trace feature from home.

You'll have yours before me

RustyJC,

Your truck is on railcar TTGX987610 and is in San Antonio now and will be arriving at West Field TX tomorrow night where it will be unloaded. Looks like you'll have yours on Friday. The phone number for the Union Pacific Automotive Group is 1-800-255-4915 and ask for Eric or Barbara.

Hope this helps,

Ray,

Thanks very much for the help. I doubt I'll see mine before late next week, though. If it's unloaded Friday night, it probably won't be delivered to the dealer until Saturday or Monday. The dealer has to install a Jacobs exhaust brake, rear mudflaps (required in Texas for duallys), etc. plus the rest of the make-ready (rinsing it off with a garden hose? :( ), so that probably eats up Tuesday and/or Wednesday (doubt they'll be in a rush. ) That makes it about next Thursday or so before we pick it up, I'll betcha! Even if it is Thursday, that's only 15 days from the build date, so I guess that isn't as bad as it could be... .

KatDiesel,

If you happen to be checking on other 2002's over the next day or two, I'd appreciate any info you can dig up on mine as well. :)

Thanks,

Rusty

Kat,rusty and Ray I also got my VIN Number and railcar number TTGX913688. I will call today, dodge said it could take 19 days to get to Las Vegas:rolleyes: Which means around the 24th for me. Maybe if they put it on a C-5 I would get it faster:D :D :D
