2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Anyone Have PITA Rattle In the Dash?

If i go to pulling dash pieces apart, do I have to worry about the air bag going off and killing me?

I fixed the most obnoxious rattle I had when i cut the motor- turned out to be the K&N air filter box. The crappy plastic nuts they supplied didn't hold to the nuts in the fender well and the dang thing rattled like none other when I shut if off.



That part was easy - the annoying rattle/click in the dash is still there while driving down the road. i sprayed PB blaster under everything on the drive train below that had rubber in hopes it was somehting there - No. The sounds is still diminished when it's wet outside and on soft snow. Every other time it absolutely drives me up the friggin wall! Anyone else have pinch weld issues on the passenger side? I haven't attempted the fix yet as time is always an issue, but I'll be ready in a few weeks or so.....
