Auto dimming rear view mirror

My truck didn't come w/ this option so I just ordered one for it, figured for 90 bucks it's worth it. Anyone know if the wiring is already installed? or will I need to wire it up myself? I installed one on a 99 grand prix I used to have and all I had to do was plug it in.



Don't mine wiring it myself, but if I do is there anywhere I can buy a factory service manual or get a wiring diagram for it so I know what wires where?

I hate the auto dimwit thing.

It does not work with the dark tined windows that I have.

Get your money BACK!!! I have never notice it working either. Maybe it's because I have tinted windows too.

I had one in my 98 and loved it, worked great.



I think I might have read somewhere that it turns itself off on the new trucks all the time. Might just have to find a fix for that.



I already ordered it, otherwise I'd take yours.

What they really need is Auto Dimming Side Mirrors!



I have the auto dimming rear-view mirror and it works great... . I even have the rear tinted window!

dont know if its leagal where you are but I tint the side windows or the mirrors to keep the headlight glare to a minimum from the side mirrors.



my auto dimming rear view works good also.

The wire is there already. Mine was tuck under the head liner by the overhead comp. I took the comp. down and losen the head liner to get it. I think you could get it by pulling down on the head liner and fish it out with your finger or something. Mine was right on the bottom next to the window.
