Automatic to 6sp

Has anyone converted their automatics to manuals? I have found a very low mileage 97 at a very cheap price but it is an auto. I have a heavy duty eth6 sp and found a wrecked truck i can get the pedal assembly from. Are there any electronics issues I should be aware of?

What yr veh are you changing from -- into what year???

6 spd's have speedo sensor on the rear axle.

Is'nt your auto off the transmission??????????

I was offer'ed to field test a 6 sp and this is one thing that is needed to give you an replie.
