Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) BD R700 Upgrade

I currently have a tow twin kit. Anyone upgrade for tow kit to r700. I think I may need to . I have reached my limit with all this fuel. I curious to know if I will still be able to tow with these.

I know I have a third gen, but mine are towing monsters. I tow around 400 hp, spooling and cooling are excellent.

99 P-pumped 24Valve repair resumes

Just dropped my p-pump & injectors off at D&W Albany to have it bench tested and also find out what the output is.

Hopefully no problems will be found.

It currently has 4800 rpm gov springs & huge injectors that do not belong on a street truck.

The plan is to install a lower gov spring set then match some injectors to the lower flow to clean it up (smoke) & get the mileage up from 10 or so.

It also needs a cam I suspect due to fuel dilution, HD valve springs & 4800 rpms.

When I get some info I will post it looking for your input.



This truck has been on my lift apart for 3 years & collected a lot of dust.

I had a 4 year loan on it & just received the title.

Time to get MOVIN!

Whoops. I guess my dad had a brain fart. My guess is that he read about the twins, thought about the truck on the lift then decided he wanted to start a thread.

I was reading the two PDF files online for both kits besides the charger obviously. There are only a few pieces that change one tube an oil line snd one or two minor things. I wonder if i can buy just that stuff as apposed to all the other useless parts.
