best price on 4" exhaust

Looking for the best price for a 4" exhaust I know there was a special price for Tdr members but where or to buy the banks system . Damn shame to take off a perfectly good exhaust but EGT get WAY to HIGH .

I bought my Jardine 4" for my 97' CC on June 19th. With the 10% discount to TDR members, I paid 432 plus 35 freight. Went on with no problems. Like the sound. Jardine 307. 455. 3897

Ramman, I paid $464 (shipped to WA state) for a 4inch turbo-to-tail aluminized mandrel bent exhaust system with a Walker (straight thru) muffler. System install was very easy, took about 2 hours start to finish, including beer breaks. I purchased from Jardine (check this thread for more info). I'm happy with the setup. Just need to find a Chrome or Stainless tip that I like. Anyone have any ideas?

Would you recommend the Jardine exhaust system? Did all the mounts line up? Were all the parts for installation there? Was there any welding required? Do you like the sound?

Hardest part of the Jardine install is removing the old system. I initially used a torch to break the old parts free, then said what the heck and took the sawsall to it. All parts were there and the fit was perfect except for the last clamp/hanger. I had to pull the rubber strap forward to make the fit, almost like the pipe could have been two inches longer. I did not consider it to be a problem. Jardine recommends tack welding which I have not done. Have about 100 miles under heavy throttle so far. I like the sound. It has a "throaty" growl, not particularly loud. The hum at about 70 is obvious but not bothersome to me. One plus for me is the system is lighter than stock. At 7600 lbs, thats a help.

The Jardine comes with everything you need (except refreshments). No welding required but I'm going to weld a few of the joints because I can. Everything lined up pretty good. I made two adjustments. 1. ) moved the hanger bracket (front muffler) to the rear factory holes in the frame to allow the hanger to clamp straight on the pipe/muffler connection. 2. ) flipped the rubber upside down on the rear tailpipe hanger before I bolted the hanger to it. This sucked the tailpipe up so it didn't hang down so far. The sound is about the same as my old Banks muffler except while cruising down the highway, there is a "rumble" coming from the rear of the truck that wasn't there before #ad
I had to tap a few of the pipe section ends back to round to allow them to slide together (probably got dinged in shipping). Also, my EGT probe was in the factory downpipe. The clamp didn't fit around the 4" downpipe for some reason. Luckily I had another clamp of the same style so I could put the two together and make a longer clamp. Hope this helps.
