I also run the SilBlades and love them, with all the freezing rain we have had this month here in North Central Washington they have held up great and don't freeze! You can also purchase them through Amazon.

Best blades I have ever owned are called SilBlades. You have to order them on line @ www.silblade.com. I previously used Bosch Icon and the Silblade brand has outperformed Bosch by a mile. They have a 5 year warranty. They are priced comparable to Bosch as well.

Ok... I just ordered these Silblade things hope they are as good as they say they are.

Now what's this about not using RainX fluid??? I've been using it for years now....

Do a web search.all kinds of complaints out there as well as warnings from some oem's

I HATE RainX. I tried it ONCE. Works fine until the rain is very light then it streaks unless you constantly add the juice to the window.

Best all around fluid IMHO is 20/10. This is with at least 1 million miles commuting in NW WA.

20/10 is what I remember my grandfather using in his shop in Oregon in the 60's

The problem with Rain-X fluid is that the fluid level sensors get the chemical coating on them and then the low washer fluid level light stays on. I liked the fluid, and have used it in my vehicles, however the sensor isn"t cheap so I just use the blue stuff from wally world, Does the job fine. If going on a long trip, I will apply the Rain-X directly to the windshield, pretty much the same as applying wax.

X2 I wish we could buy 20/10 Here in MN ... I apply the RAINX ..I don't use the RAINX fluid... 20/10 is the only stuff I know of that gets that cheap black crap off the WS that WADOT puts on.
