I was wondering what the best prices and places were to have a Bosch VP-44 injection pump rebuilt.

Also, have any of you just replaced the pump seals and diaphragm?

I have a kit that supposedly has a revised diaphragm which will not have as much of a problem with low pressure and will not rupture easily.

My truck only has 107K miles and the lift pump failed at 60K. It was replaced with a FASS lift pump.

I went with BlueChip and could not be happier 3 yr warrantee on his units and I did the bluechip X series on a stock engine and his VP44 did just what his literature says it will do, might be worth reading on his website.

I have used Bosch reman VP44s bought through a local fuel shop and I have used Blue Chip pumps. Both have worked great but Blue Chip has the added bonus of excellent tech support as well as letting you pick between budget, premium, and any pump in between.

I replaced the VP-44 with a Bluechip Best upgraded one. Finished the install early this afternoon. All drivability issues are gone now. I cannot wait to try the Smarty now, only for testing though. I went with Bluechip because of the upgrades, the tech support, and the 3 year unlimited mileage.
