I know there has been alot of discussion on heaters, but my concern is in the winter months my truck will sit 2-3 weeks at a time in the garage. So is it really necessary to leave it plugged in all the time? or would it be ok to just plug it in overnite or at least 2-3 hours before I anticipate driving it? There will alwasys be at least 1/2 - 3/4 tank of fuel in it when sitting for long periods. Thanks for any help.

You only need to plug it in a few hours before you drive it. I would also recomend useing some fuel additive. It would be a good idea when you do start it that you take it for a least a 1/2 hour drive to burn any moisture out of the engine/exhaust,that could lead to rust, and to recharge the batteries.

Thanks, that's what I will do.
