I am installing two more boost gauges and two temperature probes for the air intake. I would like to see what kind of back pressure this setup has. What would be considered proper back pressure for a set of twins running at 50 psi. Also what would be considered a normal temperature above ambient for the air charge at same boost measured at the intake?

Mr. B.

Thank you very much for the call. It makes alot more sense now. I took 2 pages of notes. I'm glad the hot pipe worked out for you. 321 stainless is good stuff. We use it on the machine gun mbs models. Don't turn your back and leave the bonnet open. That elbow cost more than both my turbos. It didn't tweak because I had it stress relieved before I skim cut the flanges. Thought you tractor guys would appreciate that.
