Attention: TDR Forum Junkies You've already got quite a bit of help here, can I muddy the water some? Two weeks ago I took delivery of my '06 and installed a Prodigy controller. As someone else mentioned, you should buy the Dodge adapter plug from Tekonsha that will go between the Prodigy and the truck.
It will take you all of 47 seconds to install it, don't hire anyone to do it.
Look under to dash, next to the steering collumn, and you will see the plug that accepts the Tekonsha pigtail. Plug in the pigtail. Fish it over to the Prodigy, plug in the Prodigy. DONE!!
Mine is mounted using the single screw holding the knee bolster on the far right. It's in front of the accelerator pedal but high enough to never interfere.
