I'm still the fastest , any get to for now race on my terms . I will race any were but the dhra untill , someone else gets a aditude adjustment. end of story. we are working on a race in one of three central locations , and anyway you don't have a dog in this hunt.
you can blame once again the leadership of the dhra for the average person not getting to see me run at their function , but we will have a full race seasion this year , and if Keating and I run it will not be at a dhra event
Translation: Eric didn't KMA so I'm gonna take my toys and go home.
Get over it Comp. Your conduct on this board is probably a large indicator as to why people are hesitant to work with you. "Attitude adjustment", come on! Whaddya got a "mom complex"? News flash, you didn't give birth to diesel performance.
After the no show last year, I would advise any promotor even thinking of working with you to get the details in writing. Other than telling you to cut the crap, I see nothing even remotely offensive in that post. Heck, thats what every other reply to this thread has been about. Cut the crap, show up and have a good time. Period.
The DHRA is way more than one person, as is any sanctioning body. If you want to let that stand in the way of some serious publicity, go ahead. It sounds like they've already got a couple tube trucks anyway. (one of which is currently the fastest all motor). It'll be a good show with or without you. ESPN2, thousands of diesel heads, bah, you don't need that anyway. You're COMP461. The fastest keyboard in TX. Every one'll come to you.
RacinDuallie you're right... marketing just ain't his thing. Do you suppose that could explain his supposed media blackout conspiracy??? Nah, it must be Edge. They've even got their own secret society, I've heard. "The Black Chip Monks. " Robes, hoods, gregorian chants, the whole works. The Illuminati got nothin on those boys. They's real powerful.

And another thing... . Comp, how come in one breath you're Mr. workin' man cant get a fair shake. Bla, bla, bla. "I built this whole truck myself cause I don't have money for a team. The engine program is slowed by funding. " And in the next, you've got $5k to toss around. And "the checks are flowing. " Pick one. Either you're as big as you say you are with all that money fame and sponsors, or you're like most everyone else on this board, piling their own cash into what can be loosely contrived as a proportional paycheck racing program. Ya cant have it both ways.
No one cares how much you give to charity. As much as you talk about it, its obvious you're doing it for the wrong reasons anyway.
