Camper tie downs

What kind of camper tie downs have any of you had good or bad sucess with. Will be putting my Lance 8. 3 foot camper on my new Dodge after many years on a Chevy 6. 2. My old tie downs were the stake pocket type of which I didn't have any problems with even though I heard some horror stories. Thanks for the help.

I've used the Happijac system with a Lance 990 (11' 3") and also a 11' canadian camper without any problems.

I also have the happyjack tie downs they seem to be very strong. I have an 8ft camper 1700# holds it very well a freind of mine also has the happy jac on his truck with a 2500# camper with no problems

Sheldon- I've had no problems with the Happijac system. I had my Lance in the bed of my 3500 for seven months and 21,000 miles staight, the system works great. Happijac has an all new mounting system for the front of the bed and actually ties into the frame and has guides for alignment. Enjoy the Ride!
