The motor that raises and lowers the back of the seat has quite working and I wanted to know if you can manually move it up or down. If I can get it raised to the right height, and it will stay, it will be fine. I feel like my butt is sitting in a hole now while driving. Any help is appreciated.

The motors are easily accessed by removing the 4 bolts that hold the drivers bottom seat cushion on and you will see the motors have tiny worm gears on them and you will have to rotate them by hand to adjust the seat. Hope this helps.

Thanks Killer, I got a pair of vice grips and rotated the shaft. Got it the height I wanted. Thanks for the info though. At least I am not sitting in a hole anymore.

My driver seat motor that inversely set the height went out as well. I have disassembled the motor and found grease had migrated into the commutator and brush assembly area and subsequently made the electrical contact surface non-conductive. This is definitely a designed in failure mechanism and MOPAR should eat the cost of replacing these motors. In the interim I have been looking for a motor rebuilder who could supply the brushes because the grease has saturated the graphite brush material, and even cleaning them with TCE doesn't get the grease out. After clean the brushes and commutator, the motor will run for awhile until the heat from the electrical contact to the commutator drives out the grease to create the oxide barrier all over again. If anyone comes up with a replacement brush supplier, please post the supplier's details.
