My driver seat motor that inversely set the height went out as well. I have disassembled the motor and found grease had migrated into the commutator and brush assembly area and subsequently made the electrical contact surface non-conductive. This is definitely a designed in failure mechanism and MOPAR should eat the cost of replacing these motors. In the interim I have been looking for a motor rebuilder who could supply the brushes because the grease has saturated the graphite brush material, and even cleaning them with TCE doesn't get the grease out. After clean the brushes and commutator, the motor will run for awhile until the heat from the electrical contact to the commutator drives out the grease to create the oxide barrier all over again. If anyone comes up with a replacement brush supplier, please post the supplier's details.
