Also note how the brake caliper / caliper bracket assembly hangs neatly off of the upper control arm......an "S" hook off from a rubber bungee works perfectly, little bend inserted through the top casting hole in the caliper and big bend over the control arm....

I like to remove the caliper and bracket separately. I always lube the sliders whenever I’m in there. Good practice to secure that though.

Running the truck to work for the next two days for a shakedown before latching onto the camper Friday.

Tracks straight, handles like it did when the truck was brand new. It NEVER handled correctly with the Moogs.......wondering now it I should get it lined up...

Had it up to 100 mph a couple times this morning, running straight and true....

The bad RH lower ball joint already started the tire down a bad path.....I'll see if my dealer can squeeze me in Friday AM for a quick alignment check...

If it tracks so perfect now I would leave it alone. The Y-Steering is a pain to set up.

Reason for this statement- if you would have to much toe-in it wouldn't track so nice on your interstate with al the deep wheel ruts.

Never touch a running system.

I would at least get it checked Ozy. Mike is smart enough to make the decision on leave it alone or align. At least he would know. Never hurts to have options.

Sure, for this case my guess is that she will find LESS toe-in then the factory spec calls for.
Let's see what Mike decides for.

Haven’t for a while. Give it another once over tonight when I install new batteries..

The bar / vice grip thing won’t work on mine, can’t swing the bar as the steering box brace that I added is right in the way...

Your thread made it seem so easy to change out the ball joints.... I remember this job kicking my butt!

Mike, did you check all your pullies and idlers? My breaker bar/ vise grip deal works great for that.

Can you explain this breaker bar/vise grip for checking pulley's and idlers?
