Marco!

I got a new truck today! My old 2001 with my new CaTCHER!

THIS is the truck I wanted from day one! I got your 'Special' reduced timing program and I teamed it with my old Edge EZ set on timing only, for hotrodding around. When I want to tow, I'll just take off the EZ and add a fuel only box. I control the amount of timing I want, finally, to some degree.

When I first got my truck back in 2000, I added a Bank's Ottomind and I was disappointed in the low end response.

I added an Edge EZ and was disappointed in the upper RPM range.

I added some DD 2's but still didn't get what I was after.

I even stacked the EZ and the Ottomind, and while the drivability was better, this ended badly. (Don't tow while stacking boxes)

Today I installed the MAD CaTCHER.

Today was the first time I was thrown back into my seat on acceleration. Today I left my first dual tire burnout marks.

Today I am STILL grinning!

Home run, Marco. Thank You.

Brian.

P. S. Bob, I am having trouble getting the original ECM off the block, but rest assured, you can HAVE that thing! I'll keep at it. No 24 valve should be without a CaTCHER.

Bob or Marco,

I have a spare 01 24V engine from a wreck in my driveway.

Can I use that 01 ECM for my 99 'catcher' upgrade? Does this cause problems or complications or is is just a core issue?

The 01 was an automatic 3500 while my 99 is a 5 speed 2500.

Money burning a hole, been watch Marco's work since he came up with the idea!

Bravo Marco!!

Today I went MAD and I'm real happy about it!!!!

Maybe the Valve Fairy stole 12 of them!!!! This truck torques like a 12 valve on the low end!!

How long till the right foot learns to go easy??

Mileage does seem to be up. That is till the VP decides to act up. Those who don't know, I have been dealing with a dieing VP now for 6 months.

The only question is the 4 codes.

1693-- we know what that is.

0501 ???????????

0521 ???????????

0602 ???????????

They are not in my book. I'm just curious, they don't set the check engine light.

P0602 = ECM Fueling Calibration Error

P0501 and P0521 are not in my service manual.

I found 0501.

Vehicle speed signal rationality.

It must of been there before I recieved it.

( maybe the truck goes irrationally now)!!!

So, 1693 , 0602, and now 0501 are found. BTW they are in the service manual supliment for the 01 trucks.

I need someone to look in the Service Manual supliment book for 02 trucks for the 0521 code.

Marco, thanks. Now, I need to figure out if the code was there when I installed it or after.

Are these resetable without going to a dealer?

And, THANK YOU FOR A GREAT PRODUCT!!!!
