CB Mounting location

Looking for a location to mount a full size CB radio in new 2015. Thinking under the dash to the right of steering column but then it would be in wifes way and plastic might not hold it. Also thinking of mounting it on the left side of the center hump next to the 4x4 shift lever but don't know if you can put the mounting screws for the bracket though the hump itself. Suggestions????

I don't know the difference between the 2015 and my 2006, however, I mounted mine on the right side of the hump.

There was a guy on here years ago that made custom mounts for full size radios that went in front of the center seat on the hump - not sure what ever happened to him or the product line, but they are a nice mount - still have mine in my truck!

I believe the mount that "drag racer" is referring to was the "Brolin" mount. I also have one in my 95 and it is great.

I ripped out the cup holder unit and tucked in my CB and scanner . Added cupholders on the front of the lower storage .
