I tried a couple of different routes with this. I am wondering about going to the exhaust?

I don't want more problems and try to gain less headaches down the road. I am wondering if you run it to the exhaust what are the issues with doing this. I did searching on this all last night and just wondering why more people don't do this? Is this good or bad.

I just want the smell and oil leaks gone... ...

thanks

I would think if you ran it to the exhaust on a 45 degree angle, the exhaust flow would create a venturi effect on the ccv and draw it out? Or straight into the exhaust with a 45 degree cut in the ccv line facing downstream? Both should create vacuum.

I would think you will have to put it in the exhaust after the muffler if you have one. With the Mod's you are showing I would worry about back pressure blowing back into the engine under full throttle. Would the back pressure be strong enough to blow out gaskets? Then there's going to be an big oily soot build up mess in the pipe that will GROW real fast. Once that build up comes you will get to throw the pipe away or it might catch on fire and you can tell people you have an AFTERBURNER for more thrust.

i would worry about the oil residue making it to the tail pipe and dripping out and just cloggoing up the exhaust. the way i see around it is to put it near the turbo to try and burn it off.

i would worry about the back pressure issue mentioned above as well

I wouldn't put it the intake before the Turbo. You will get oily build up in the Turbo and on the Vains and all the way to and the Inner Cooler. Not where I would want an oily mess. If the smell is that bad run an 1 inch line from the engine all the way to the back bumper. That's what some guy's have done. Just make sure there are no low spots that will fill up with oil and block the air flow.

i am running the valve cover ccv that come from case. i have know more oil coming out and have had great luck with them. the only down side is they run you about 200 bucks for the covers and stuff you need. by far one of the best options for ccv. hammer has a write up on them and part # and such.

Yes I have one of them. I ran my crank tube to the valve cover and I ahve the valve cover going to the ground. I thought it would help keep the oil down and not come out of the tube. I was wrong.

Thanks. No I didn't. It kind of evolved and I would do some things different if I started fresh now. For one thing I would include the steel wool in the main tank or even use something different but not sure what. It works perfectly but just has more pieces than it would have too if I were to start over.
