Wondering if anybody else has there cd player quit playing. Doesn't seem to matter if it's factory or home burn. It will play fine for a while, then stop for a few seconds, or some times several minutes. It alway starts playing where it left off. This happens when I am driving, and when the truck is parked.

Yep, it happened to me. I got a new amplifier under warranty. It wasn't the CD player really, but it failed just they way you described.

2 days into owning the truck and my 6disc in dash died. It wouldn't eject any of my cd's and made this horrible clicking noise. They replaced the unit under warranty, and to my surprise sent me back my 6 cd's. They did put annoying stickers on them though, that said don't use printed cd labels... trying to blame the labels on why the unit failed. Nonsense, I have 600 labeled/burned cd's and have continued to use them in the new unit with no problems.

Every once in a while when I hop in and start the truck the player will make an awful rattle sound and then the noise stops, a CD is in there when it does it. Plays music ok.
