I've installed another light bar on my 2014 and will be wiring the main power from Auxiliary #1 switch. I didn't find any information in my owners manual and my local dealer is no help so here is my question;

Does anyone have the part number for the appropriate connectors for the aux hookup point under the hood? I found the connectors and identified each but can't seem to locate the parts to finish my wiring install. Here is a pic of what I've got (my truck did not include any connector kits as some have indicated on other forums)

Did you check the beer coolers under the floor in back, and under the seat?

I would contact the dealer and ask them WTF? They may be able to provide you the upfitter kit.

Here is a picture of the bag my truck came with. The numbers on the bag are P68209998AB and T-AWJ1554S9072. Guys on other sites are saying that those aren't the part numbers.

Well, the kit shown on Page 8 does match the part number in the photo above so maybe that is the kit you need......68209998AB or AC...

Dealer should be able to check the availability of both to see what is up.

Mike.

OK, this is what I have discovered...

Found a reference to the first being in the glovebox on new trucks. It shows the part number of 68049501AB right on the bag. The reference is from a Chelsea PTO installation PDF that I can't seem to swing over to this forum so you will have to take my word for it. Tried it on the web and no hits as far as pricing, etc....

Second number does work on the net, comes up at many dealers for $36.00 to $50.00 in price. That would be the 68209998AB.

I would see if the dealer can get one for free where it was missed on the PDI when the truck was sold...

Mike.

When I did mine the pick up truck section referred to the cab and chassis sections for more info which is where the links below are from.

Page 1 to 3 here has info that is relevant to the pick-ups as well and page 10-11 as well.

Just be aware that when you plug the wires into the harness plug that you are looking at the plug from the right side or you will end up connecting your accessory to the wire that is on the opposite side of the one you wanted and it will not be controlled by the switch that you thought you were connecting to. Don't ask me how I know!!! More than once
Certain switches are "memory" switches and will stay on or off when you restart the truck, so pay attention to which one you choose. Moving a fuse can change options for certain switches as well.
I wish I had more of these switches, never enough!
My truck came with a bag under the seat with all the pig tails and plug harness parts to push the pigtail wires into.

Ok, got the aux switch wiring kit. What are the smaller diameter wires, wires with six pin connectors and the 4 wire looped connectors for? I know that the larger wires are for the connections at the firewall mounted pdc.

I THINK I found it....

Using Joe's advice (couldn't find anything in the connector website) and going to RAM body builder I believe what you need is on Page 7 of this attached PDF. Part # 68049501AB.
There is another kit on Page 8 but has way more stuff than you need.

http://www.rambodybuilder.com/2015/docs/ram/ramufwii.pdf

See what you think..

Mike.

Page 7 on the linked PDF shows what the extra stuff is for, mostly PTO and the related throttle control. Also may be a few items there for snowplow wiring...

I just emailed Ram upfitters and they responded with the following:

"The truck should have been delivered with the upfitter kit PN 68209998AB.
This contains pigtail wires with the pins and seals that when inserted into the connector make the factory seal."

SMasters' photo showing the plastic bag with the part numbers IS CORRECT based upon the email I just received.

My dealer is the next stop.

Thanks everybody!

Just a note. On my 15 the individual switches can be programmed through the EVIC. I don't remember if they're in the steering wheel controls or on the main screen. You'll have to scroll through the options to find the aux switches but it's there. Momentary or latch and always powered or key on only.
