Any ideas on which gear oil to put in i have a 10 bolt Dana 70 should i use 75-140 SYN or reg #90 any help would be great.

If you tow heavy or frequently, use the 75-140. If you're like me and do mostly unloaded driving, then use 80-90. Brand and synthetic/conventional is up to you.

dresslered,
I can't find anything on LE 607. I've heard about it, but has it been replaced by a new one? And where do you buy it in CA? I would like to try it if it's compatible with D80.

I remember the LE607 was kind of hard to find at the time and TDR members were actually going in on 55-gallon drums together (last thing I wanted to do). The last time I actually bought some was in 2004 and I had purchased a case mail order. For the life of me I can't remember where from??? If it is that hard to find, perhaps another brand is in order. I still have enough left for another oil change so I won't have to cross that bridge yet.
