Has any one else experianced Brake failure due to ABS?

Rattling Body! I think?

I received a check engine light yesterday. I have an Edge Attitude which indicated the code was P-069 Manifold presser/barometric pressure correlation.

The Edge cleared the code and the check engine light went out. Does anyone know what the warning was about??

I'll take a guess here - not knowing the year, etc.

When you first turn the key on, before the engine starts, the computer compares various sensors against each other to see if they agree, within reason. In this case it would be the air pressure sensed pre-turbo (barometric pressure) vs post-turbo (MAP). They should be close to each other when the engine is not running. Could be caused by a failing sensor, or could also be a voltage problem (one or more batteries getting weak, bad connections at batteries, or PCM, or sensor). Start saving pennies and watch and see if it happens again.

The 05 service manual calls that boost key on rationality. It means that when you turned the key on that the MAP and barometric sensor had greater than 3 psi difference. Which means either you turned the key off then on with boost, or 1 of the 2 sensors is faulty or not fully seated.
