I had this clutch in for quite a wile and had no trouble . Now every now and then the peddle binds up and the clutch doesn't disengage i can press it down a second or third time and then its ok again . Any ideas ? could the throw out bearing be cocking or something ? Has any one else had this trouble ? Thanks Mike

I had the same problem early this summer. Truck was hard to get in gear at the stop light. Eventually, the clutch would not disengage. Turned out to be the pilot bearing. It was completely gone, and took the transmission input shaft with it. Since replacement and oil change in the transmission, it has been as smooth as a baby's butt.

Now that i had been thinking about this i'm willing to bet that its a broken disk spring lodged some where in the pressure plate . I had seen this happen in other vehicles . Mike . And know for the bad part . taking it out again and worst $$$$$$$$$ for a nearly indestructible clutch

i have this same problem right now. i asked around town here and they all said that i might have air in the hydrolics. i replaced the system and it didnt change a thing. call sbc and peter said it was probably the pilot bearing. gota good fix and upgrade coming soon:)
