Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) clutch problems 02 3500 dually 5spd

I recently replaced my clutch in my 02 with a hd luk clutch. Did not change out the m/c or slave cylinder. Clutch is nearly all the way out when it engages and only has about 2500 miles on it. Will replacing the slave and m/c fix this problem? To my knowledge there are no adjustments on the hydraulics or in the bell housing. Any recommendations?

I'd say it is just different than you are used to. Worry when starts to engage when you are just off the floor, or while holding the pedal down (been there, done that).

I had both the m/c and slave replaced yesterday and clutch seems to be working fine. Clutch was starting to slip where it was releasing at. It now releases a couple of inches off the floor and I am getting a full release. Thanks for your input.
