Be careful with that little orange bike Craig. If you were to encounter a "tank slapper" during excelleration, it'll take yer knees clean off! :p

You guys better quit bantering and come up to Fort Collins this Saturday! (see thread in Central) Oo.

Any of you'se guys up in the Conifer, Pine, Bailey area know where North Trail Circle is? I'm tryin' to figure out which county it's in and I can't find it on Mapquest.

Tim,

I have area maps of Conifer, Aspen Park and Pine and it's not on the street lists for those. Sorry, but I can't help ya. BTW, thanks for the "tank slapper" advice. I'll probably not be riding the little KTM again. Look me up if you get up this way-let me know you're coming.

Find it yet? I have an area map in my truck, I will look at lunch and let you know if I find it!

Thanks for the help. We found it using the Jefferson County Address Wizard. Turns out the house is to be at a Littleton address, not Conifer. It's off Keuhster Road. It's a log home I am designing and we'd hoped it was in Park County rather than Jeffco as they require energy calculations provided with the plans. The log style the owners selected will not meet they're requirements. (back to the drawing board... literally)

I lived on DeBerry street from age 2 till 15, can ya find that!?

On Pinecam someone posted

"From 285, take Pleasant Park Rd to Critchell. Right on Kuehster for 6 or 7 miles... North Trail Circle will on the left. "

Nice area.

Sounds like you already found it.

JeffCo Building Dept can be a pain... . I built my own log cabin and had a local engineer stamp the plans and certify the energy clacs. No problem. Let me know if I can help. Sandbrew

Thanks again guys. I design and draft plans for mainly log homes for a living and deal with code issues with many counties and municipalities in the western region all the time. The problem is each has adopted a certain code and made their own set of amendments beyond that. It's tough to keep track of which county uses which code and beyond that what their own set of amendments are.

The engineer sent me an e-mail that said we can make it work by throwing a bunch of insulation at the 8x8 logs, but the owners want the 6x8 logs and we can make that work by throwing an enormously ridiculous amount of insulation at it. We'll see what they wanna do. :D

My wife just got home and said she saw some white FORD with a shell, lifted and a TDR sticker on the shell rear window. She said you were driving like you were in a major hurry. Coming up 285 around The Homestead. Anyone?

I might be moving to Colo in a year or so. Might have to move around the CSU area (fiance is going to Vet school). I guess that is around FT collins? Are there any lakes around that area that allow boats/jet skiis? how about places to ride motorcycles? (preferably sand, not trees!)

Horsetooth resivoir if you can find a patch of water to get on. It's in the foothills right above Fort Collins.

Not to mention the 'Green Navy' comes up here to go to Glendo and Guernsey res. every weekend during the summer months. About 2-2. 5 hours north of Fort Collins. CSU vet school is very good. ;)

I am not part of the group, just heard about them and since he stated that he was moving north I referred him up there.

Have fun in Moab!

Hi guys and gals, I'm new to the TDR and was woundering if the RMTDR has any Meet and greets in the future. I wanted to see and meet at PFI but I was exhausted and could not make the trip from denver. (Just back from delivering some generators to my family in Florida). Is there a RMTDR web site?

Hi All

Hello and welcome. There will be many more get togethers coming up in the future. MLokner, our new RMTDR president will be posting in the "Central" forum dates and locations. He's gone on vacation for a few more days, then he'll be posting. Looking forward to meeting you.
