Has anyone done installed there comp box in the ash tray, and if

so do you have any pic's of the install. I'm also interested in

different mounting locations if theres pics. Thanks for your time

It's possible to do in fact I thought about it, but also needed a place to mount my brake controller so I made a bracket out of plexiglass sprayed it gray to match and mounted the comp in that. It just takes the place of the ash tray that was only holding change anyway. I will try to post some pics for you if would like. I know it's not exactly what you're looking for but just another option. :)

I removed my ash try altogether. Mounted the brake controller to the dash (in place of the ash tray slot, then mounted the Comp box to the bottom of the brake controller.

Ive done the ash-tray bomb, first make sure your cable will reach, 2nd the ash trays are very weak and break easy!!!!!!! you only need to cut one side of the ashtray, drill a hole in the back of the tray (for plug) along with a 2" tall rectangle in the dash (behind ash-tray for wire to go up and down with the tray)

Take the comp box and put it next to the ashtray, then mark it where it will fit, cut it out and then velcro the box up. great bomb!!! WEll worth the effort
