Nope rolled up with one of my friends in his hemi They started the Mike Reilly award this year, He was on my Dept before FDNY, so we came up to say hi and support his folks.

My friend that graduated is a TDR'er. He has a nice clean 98. 5 CTD. Has been on my dept. for years and just got hired by UConn as a Paramedic/FF.

Did you guys see our state is using pretty much straight salt on the roads instead of a sand/salt mixture like in the past?



Remember a couple of years ago the Yale college kids that were coming home from New York City late at night during a snow storm and they crashed and a couple of them got killed? I guess they said once the hit the Connecticut highways, they were real slippery as opposed to the New York highways.



A guy at work said this was one of the reasons for the changeover.

Not only straight salt but liquid calcium chloride at least along the I-95 corridor. That stuff works wonders on the underbody!

Today I saw a Maroon 3500 Quad cab, tow mirrors, Holley Mud Flaps, TDR sticker on drive side rear window. WE were traveling on Rt 66 in meriden just about to the middelfield line. You took a right on a street that was right before the " Victory church" . I was in my Black 1500 headed to holley dodge.

Saw a 2nd gen 2500 Patblue/silver Northbound 95 in Stratford on 3/1/07. Appeared to have a aftermarket rear bumper FD plate up front and a TDR sticker.

Got TNL Sunday Rt 73, Southbound, Me heading North after droping off stuff in his storage unit. Moose
