Cost of E-brake

Greetings, and Happy New Year! I don't want to beat a dead horse, but I need some input on the complete cost that people are paying for the Jacobs E-brake for the 24 valve ISB engine. This is for the complete kit only. I have heard a wide variety of answers, but want to double check. Thank you!

TurboJ99..... go to your cummins dealer, or call them on the phone with a credit card... join the local power boosters club. It costs about 15-20 dollars.

Next, travel down to the Cummins shop nearest you! Tell them you want the Cummins E Brake, with your power boosters club discount. The total for me in Washington was $675. 00. That included tax and everything. I installed it myself. It is very easy to do, and helps you become more familiar with your truck. If you have any difficulties, I would be happy to help. One word of caution... . my vaccuum selenoid had two fittings... one was the wrong size. Check it before you leave the shop!
If you can not get one for this price, let me know and I will help you get one here and snail mail it to you.
I absolutely love that brake, use it all the time. It works great!

Does the power boosters club work at any CUMMINS dealer for any parts including oil and filters. What about labor? How long is membership good for? Tell us more.

PB Club is good for about 10% off on oil, filter, fuel filter, etc. Good for one year, and your membership number can be accessed at any Cummins shop. Call them, and they can give you more specifics... . Enjoy!
