Ok, I was coming back from delivering a boat this afternoon, all was going well, I pulled out to pass and got 2 real pronounced misses or stumbles in a row, like the fuel shut off momentarily..... kinda spooked me, so I was running easy for a bit, then on the next big hill, it did it again a time or two... . I'm gonna change the filter tonite, see what happens. Anything to look for ?

I did turn the pump up and changed the exhaust about 600 miles ago, but it seemed fine to now. All systems seemed good, engine temp was fine, EGT's good, boost good, ... ...

Well I think you are starting in the right area with fuel filter but also check all wireing to make sure a connection didnt wiggle loose ?hope ya fix it and its just minor .

If it cut out under load (heavy throttle, anyway), my experience says it's the female spade connector on the wire to the pump shut off solenoid. I have had it happen on more than one engine. Something with the throttle lever interfering with the wiring posistion as routed by Dodge . I put a parts store spade connector on it and have been good so far. It is now one of my preventive things when I get a new truck, just like my AFC hose fix.

I'm with Daniel, after I turned my fuel screw I must have bumped mine lose, going down the road and start to give it the fuel and it started cutting out, back off OK, try it again and cut out, I took a very small screw driver and a couple off picks and mashed the female spade back tighter and no problems since.
