Or should I say sender..... I was cruising down the highway about 80 mph and he started bucking I looked at the fuel gage and it was just above the 1/8 tank mark ( no low fuel light yet) then I looked at the fuel pressure and it was at 0 ! I was about 45 minutes from home and had 3 of my kids with me, My wife came to the rescue with some fuel but, I needed a wrench to bleed the injectors. To make matters worse the was a thunderstorm approaching. After hitting the local Discount Auto parts and cracking the lines for the bleed I was back up and running, as soon as I shut the hood the storm let loose, What timing.

What is the cost and How hard is it to change the sender presuming thats the problem?

Thanks, Chas.

you are looking at a ~$40 product... easy to do. . I have done it before, and one reason I contributed to it going out, or so I have heard, is the use of the high flow pumps used for fueling large class 8 trucks. . I dont know how it messes it up, but it does. . keep this in mind, if you do indeed go to the Truck stops to get fuel. Easy fix though. . dont pay someone to do it.
