Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) dead pedal-lack of power

I have a 97 3500, 5 speed, 130k. mi. #2 janetty plate. On initial start up vehicle runs fine except it will not accelerate properly. No throttle response, will only build about 10 psi boost-no smoke. If you jab the throttle numerous times it will come out of it and run fine till you shut it off and start it again. It has 22 psi fuel pressure at wide open throttle. Any suggestions?

I would check to see if the fuel shut off solenoid is coming up all the way.

Sounds like the AFC is not working (Sticking) with no smoke no fuel

Thanks for the tips. I think I have it fixed. The fuel shutoff solenoid was not fully opening. I had recently bought one but had not put it on, due to no problems. Thanks again for the replies.
