Had a friend give me a used Delta truck box that he wasn't using. Went to mount it and saw that the back of the box was going to rub up against the front of the bed. I considered trimming a piece of innertube and sticking it between the two to prevent the rubbing but found a better solution while searching through a hardware store. I was able to find a 5"x5"x1/8" piece of red rubber gasket material. I used a putty knife to spread clear RTV on the "gasket" and simply "glued" it to the truck box and then butted the truck box up against the front of the bed.
Installation was what one would expect except for I wasn't sure I'd be able to get the front bolts through the siderails. I ended up installing the front bolts by reaching up under the siderails from underneath the fender while under the vehicle. I'm sure I looked pretty comical doing it, but it finally got done.
