How many are trying to drive for economy now????

06' Dodge Truck

Two strokes aint dead yet, EMD still makes their 710 series emmision compliant engine. Does anyone know what happened with EMDs H engine?

I can't remember the last time I read a thread from start to finish, but I enjoyed this one. Yes I listened to all of the tape of the motors and the movie clips. Brought back alot of memories of my experiences with DD 2 strokes. City buses never can forget them, the old FLEX, always tell my wife gonna get me one of them, NY bus still runs about a dozen of them for express, no back doors, perfect Rv conversion. Speaking of fire trucks how about a 56' tiller climbing the hill on 233st, and for Tyrone Malones Boss I still

have that model in a box in the basement, must be damn near 30 years old.

My only bad experience with them was driving a 12yd mixer up and down the hills of Rockland cty. Those were the days, thats probably why we like them so much, takes us back to a place we like to be. The new series 60 SHEESCH' if I could get that tiller to go 3mph faster up that hill on 233rd I swear I'd be airborne by the top. thanks for the good reading material.

Know your neck of the woods, worked for NJTransit many years ago. Nothing but 71s and 92s. Still see a few two strokes out here, fire equipment, busses, and the occasional motorhome conversion. Remember those Flxibles!
